Every service starts with a consultation — we look at your hair texture, face shape, and what you're trying to accomplish before we pick up a clipper. We don't do cookie-cutter cuts.

Walk-Ins Welcome — Or Book Ahead
We take walk-ins seven days a week. Our Washington Heights barbershop is open 9am to 8pm Monday through Sunday — no appointments required. If you want to lock in a specific barber or a specific time, book through our online system and skip the wait entirely.
Weekend mornings fill up fast. If you're coming in on Saturday or Sunday, booking ahead is strongly recommended. Weekday afternoons are typically walk-in friendly.
Our Barbers
Every barber at Northern Cuts is a licensed New York State cosmetologist with a minimum of 8 years on the floor. We have specialists for afro-textured hair, curly hair, and straight hair — and everyone is trained on fades, designs, and beard work. No apprentices on paying clients. Period.
Our team speaks English and Spanish — Washington Heights is home, and we serve the whole community.
